Our costs are some of the best around, up to 50% cheaper than
Eventbrite and real human support included. To keep things low cost
and simple for you, we include basic Stripe fees in what we charge
you, this means that our 50p + 5% fees cover all your costs, for our
services and for payment processing.
The way this works is that Stripe charges you their fee and we’ll take
the difference between that and what we advertise so that the total you
pay is 50p + 5%.
All UK personal payment cards are included with no extra costs
(including American Express).
However, there are a few exceptions where you’ll be charged more by Stripe.
For customers who pay with an EU or international card (outside of the UK), Stripe will charge you between 1% and 2.25% more on the total order value. We’ll make this clear to you in your accounting reports and when looking at customer orders.
For customers who pay with a premium card (business or corporate), Stripe will charge you 0.4% more on the total order value. We’ll make this clear to you in your accounting reports and when looking at customer orders.
If a customer disputes a charge, Stripe, the payment processor, will charge you a fee of £20 and return the amount paid to the customer.
You then have the option to counter the dispute and provide evidence
to Stripe.
If you win the counter then the funds will be returned
to your account but the £20 will not be returned.
